Fall brings in a change of seasons and also some changes on MotoZania. The biggest change you might have already noticed,  that is the diversity of our Member and user base.

When we were still in the due diligence phase of writing our business plan and speaking with "experts" most of them had the notion for our site to grow it must be about one type of motorcycle and be directed at people in the United States. I am please to say that we listened to all the advise and did the exact opposite. To us, what makes a great and entertaining website is to have as many people from as many different places as possible post all kinds of bike photos and videos.

It seems all of you agree as we made two milestones this month. For the first time ever, on Monday the 27th, we had over 1000 people on the site in one day. It was also our first month  to have over 25,000 visitors.

Where do all of you come from? Well since we are based in Southern California, and we attend a lot of local events, the highest percentage of Members and viewers are from here. Motozania is ranked # 216,236 in the United States, and ranked # 791,303 most popular website in the world,  according to the past three-month Alexa traffic rankings. That's not bad, out of an estimated 1 billion websites in the world, we're in the top 1%. But the some of the most interesting stats are that we are ranked # 38,314 in Italy and our highest percentage of new Members are from South Africa!

In total we had people from 151 countries use the site last month.

Fall has also brought us a few other site changes. We have spent time building an API in our TV channel section. To help keep you entertained we now have 28 channels filled with videos from your favorite sites like YouTube, Vimeo, flikr and blip. As those host sites add videos, the ones on MotoZania will auto update for you.

We have added a side bar to all the non-UGC pages to make it easier to navigate to your favorite pages like the Photo of the Day and Bikes & Babes sections as well as easy access to our Site Tips and Tutorials which also has a new look.

In the Event section, all of the events are listed by date first, then by location. If you click the hot button that says "Author", the list will change to location first, then by date.

MotoZania Membership drive, that also helps to fight diabetes. Ask all your friends to join MotoZania today! There are several great charity rides, and events
for you to attend & support throughout October.

We currently have 176 motorcycle rides and events listed in October with more being added. Just to mention a few:

The Las Vegas Bike Fest is this weekend. Also this weekend is the Big Desert Rally in Queensland Australia.

The weekend of the 8th-10th has the Malaysia Grand Prix and the Barber Vintage Motorsports event which has everything from MX to the Bator Vintage Auction.

October 14-17 in Daytona Beach, Florida is their annual Biketoberfest. Also that weekend in Staffordshire, UK is the Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show.

On October 23rd the Easyriders Bike Tour rolls into South Carolina and out in Dixon, California the Trans-Cal Nationals MX.

The last weekend of the month offers up the Concours d'Elegance in Santa Barbara and plenty of spooky Halloween rides and events all over the United States.

How do I find people, groups, or bikes I am interested in?

The search box at the very top of each social page is subjective to the page you are on.

If you want to find a member in your area, in the main tool bar, click on MEMBERS

When the Member page comes up, at the very top of the page in the Search Box, type in your city and hit enter on your keyboard.

Same holds true if you want to see all the bikes from your area. Click on PHOTOS in the main tool bar and type in Baltimore in the search box. Or if you want to find a type of bike, say bobber, then type that in and click enter.

The system is designed to help you find what you want. The hard part about making it work is getting people to fill in all the information on their profiles and media  so the search engine can find them.
  
Please fill out your profiles to at least list your country, state and city. On all you media, add at least a Title, but adding a Description and Tags will get you seen the most.
