37th Annual El Camino Classic Motorcycle Show and Swap Meet

Classic Cycle Events is pleased to present the 37th Annual El Camino Classic Motorcycle Show and Swap Meet. Due to much needed earthquake retrofitting and renovations, a large portion of the parking lot we normally use at El Camino College is unavailable for use for this year's El Camino event. This construction would result in having to turn away 75 of our regular swap meet vendors, and would once again leave us without space for the 30 to 50 new vendors that inquire each year wanting to participate in the event.

Not wanting to postpone the largest motorcycle show and swap on the West Coast, and wanting to accommodate everyone; rather than turning anyone away, we have been forced to consider a larger venue.  We believe we've found the best choice at Irwindale Raceway,  located at 500 Speedway Dr.  Irwindale, CA. 91706.

The vendor spaces are a bit larger and we have plenty of room for all of our regular vendors, new vendors and for future growth.

The City of Irwindale does require a local business license which is included in the price of the vendor space, hence the increase in price from $65.00 to $75.00 for pre-registered and from $85.00 to  $95.00 at the gate.

The bike show registration fee and spectator admission will stay the same. There will be a $5.00 parking fee per vehicle and FREE dedicated ride-in parking for motorcycles.

We hope the changes we have made will make everyone’s show and swap experience a great one and look forward to seeing you at the 2012 El Camino Show & Swap. A California tradition for 37 years.... and counting.

Motorcycle Show: Registration and check-in is from 6:30 - 8:30 AM Saturday. Pre-registration is encouraged, but not required.
Entry fee is $35 for the first bike and $10 for each additional bike and includes one general admission (NOT 1 person per bike, each additional person is $10.)and an event pin. Pre-Registration includes a FREE Event Poster. Judging begins at 9:00 AM sharp, no entries permitted after 8:30 AM.

Classes: Antique Motorcycle 1900-1935; Vintage American 1936-1964; Vintage British 1936-1964; Classic American 1965-1989; Classic British 1965-1989; Vintage & Classic European 1936-1989; Classic Japanese to 1989; On & Off-Road Competition to 1989; Two Stroke On & Off Road Competition to 1989; Custom Vintage & Bobbers to 1989; Powered Bikes & Scooters to 1989; All Original Motorcycles to 1989; Trail Bike / Enduro including Street Trackers and Cafe Racers to 1989.

Awards: 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place (3rd place not awarded in all classes) Trophies and Honorable Mention Ribbons in each class plus People's Choice, Sponsor's Choice, Best Restoration and Best of Show Awards. Presentation will be held at 1:00PM. Show entrants must be present to receive an award. (Note: Classes may change depending on participation).

Display Only: Show any bike, any year, any style for the fee of $20.00 NO awards given.

Swap Meet: Space sizes are 17'x25'. Pre-registered space fees are $75; non-registered are $95 at the gate. (Includes Irwindale City RequiredSellers Permit) The combined length of your vehicle(s) MUST fit in the allotted space or extra spaces must be purchased. PRE-REGISTRATION IS ENCOURAGED. The deadline is September 12th, with no exceptions. Forms received after this date will be charged the additional $20. Please mail early, the postmark is the final word. This hopefully will make the line move quickly.

Non-registered vendors will be assigned spaces on a first-come serve basis. Pre-registered vendors will be parked first! Check in is Friday, Sept 21st, 2012 from 4:00PM to 10:00PM, and Saturday, Sept 22nd, 6:00AM to 7:30AM. No vendors are permitted on any part of the property before 4:00PM Friday. DO NOT LINE UP IN THE STREET BEFORE 4:00PM FRIDAY!

Vendor gate will be locked Friday night promptly at 10:00 PM, and will reopen Saturday morning at 6:00 AM. Overnight camping in your prepaid vending space is permitted on Friday night. Saturday event hours are 8:00AM to 4:00PM. Vendors please note that we will be offering an early bird admission from 6:00-7:30 AM, so please be prepared for early shoppers. Vendors agree to stay until 4:00PM. Space fee includes 2 admissions total per space with a maximum of 6 admissions for multiple spaces. Vendor gate will not hold passes for late arriving workers! Additional worker passes are $25 each at check-in good for Friday and Saturday, with a limit of three total per space.

ABSOLUTELY NO ALCHOHOLIC BEVERAGES, NO GLASS CONTAINERS, NO PETS, NO OPEN FIRES, NO SKATEBOARDS or “Razor” SCOOTERS and NO WEAPONS PERMITTED. Vendors are responsible to clean up their trash before leaving and safeguard their own property. The swap meet is limited to motorcycle related items only. No objectionable materials please. All commercial vendors must have resale license displayed in their space. ~All Fees Non-Refundable~

Motorcycles For Sale: An exclusive area has been designated for the sale of complete/running motorcycles. Corral fee is $25 per bike and includes one general admission good for Saturday only and a For Sale sign with a clip and zip tie. Please register sale bikes at the show bike registration from 6:30 to 8:30AM Saturday. Pre-registration is suggested, but not required.

GENERAL ADMISSION: $10 per person beginning at 8:00AM on Saturday. Children under 12 are free and must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Parking $5. Early bird shopper admission is $35 per person from 6:00 to 7:30AM on Saturday only.
ABSOLUTELY NO GENERAL ADMISSION ON FRIDAY. Event hours are 8:00AM to 4:00PM Saturday, September 22, 2012.
