Red Bull X-FightersJuly 20, 2012 in Madrid, SpainRED BULL X-FIGHTERS Practically the home event for the Red Bull X-Fighters! The series originally began 11 years ago in the bullfighting arena in Valencia. Only a year later, the competition went to Madrid. Since 2002, the FMX elite has been flying through the air consistently at Las Ventas, one of the most famous bullfighting arenas in the world. It was local rider Dany Torres last year who grabbed the bull by the horns: the Spainard won ahead of Blake "Bilko" Williams (AUS) and the Australian Rookie Josh Sheehan. Situated in the Guindalera quarter of the district of Salamanca, it was inaugurated on June 17, 1931. It has a seating capacity of 25,000 and is regarded as the home of bullfighting in Spain. This bullring was designed by the architect José Espeliú in the Neo-Mudéjar (Moorish) style with ceramic incrustations. The seats are situated in ten "tendidos".
