Mark your calendar now for October 18-21, 2012 for the 20th anniversary of Biketoberfest® in Daytona Beach, FL, an international award-winning motorcycle festival that offers participants an extended weekend get-away brimming with plenty of sun, beaches, bikes and fun! Thousands of bikes will roar into and all around town - no two alike!

Biketoberfest® is a fun-filled, entertaining event that attracts motorcycle enthusiasts from throughout North America and Europe. Festivities include street rallies, bike shows, racing, concerts, charity rides, expos, seminars and celebrity appearances.

For those not living by the ocean, Daytona Beach offers you the opportunity to ride along the ocean and view the white sandy beaches. At Biketoberfest Daytona Beach you need to take the time to ride the Loop which is a 22 mile ride where you can checkout some of the scenic beauty of Daytona Florida.

Biketoberfest is one of the premier motorcycle rallies in the world and subsequently it will have top notch attractions including the well known bike shows: Rats Hole Bike Show, Willie's Ol' School Chopper Show, Boardwalk Classic Bike Show, Fastlanes Chopper Show, and other shows for you to check out amazing bikes during Biketoberfest.

Popular annual activities including the motorcycle shows are: vintage motorcycles, custom bikes, demonstration rides on the newest motorcycles, and motorcycle racing at the world-famous Daytona International Speedway!!!

Daytonas's Biketoberfest has expanded over the years beyond just the Daytona Beach area; notably Bruce Rossmeyer's Harley Davidson has always had a lot of the offerings that you find at most rallies right on their huge property. Unfortunately, Bruce passed away while riding to Sturgis in 2009 and his family has decided to turn Destination Daytona into a museum. So the 2011 Biketoberfest was the last time that you would be able to visit it as a dealership during this rally. That being said, the museum will be a cool place to visit in 2012 and there still is the huge property that Destination Daytona sits on for events, entertainment, and vendors in the future.

Other major venues during the Bikeotberfest rally with attractions and events; the Riverfront Park across the street Daytona Harley; Volusia County Fair Grounds hosts the Motorcycle Swap Meet Extravaganza and Bike Show; and the Daytona Flea Market has a huge swap meet and displays.

The Daytona International Speedway is another hub for activities during Biketoberfest and it is not just the races. In 2011 the Speedway was being repaved so you weren't able to ride around on it, but in 2012 you should be able to take a spin on the famous track. At the Speedway there is also live music, demo rides, bikini contest, vendors, and other events.

You'll also enjoy endless-delicious food choices, live music and plenty of people-watching. During Biketoberfest the world renowned Daytona Beach bars don't disappoint. On Main Street (Boot Hill Saloon, Froggy's, Main Street Station, and Dirty Harry's) and on Highway 1 (Broken Spoke, Iron Horse Saloon, Willie's Tropical Tattoo, and Smiley's Tap Room) will have their own attractions including bike shows, custom builders, live music, wet t shirt contests, other contests and events, give-aways, and vendors.
