Americade 2012June 5-9, 2012 in Lake George, New YorkNOTE: If you pre-register you can go to the party at night at Fort William Henry on June 4th. Lake George NY will host the 30th Annual Americade in 2012 which is billed as the World's Largest Touring Rally. Americade has become the world's largest multi-brand motorcycle touring rally, attracting over 50,000 annually. In 2011 the headquarters moved from Roaring Brook Ranch to the Fort William Henry Resort to make the attractions within walking distance of most hotels. The family friendly Americade rally!!!! Fort William Henry Resort will host many of the demo rides, some factory displays, judging competitions, seminars, fashion shows, and most of the parties. Americade will utilize the entire property including its conference center and banquet rooms. Event registration and check-in will remain at Holiday Inn, just up the street from Fort William Henry. Pre-registered Americaders can pick up their packets starting June 4. It's a convention of tourers, sport-tourers and cruising motorcycles enjoying a week-long festival of motorcycling, including guided tours in the beautiful Adirondack Park and Green Mountains of Vermont, two massive trade shows with nearly 250 vendors, demos and displays from nearly all the major motorcycle manufacturers, and much, much more. To participate, most attendees register for a full-week wristband, giving them access to the trade shows, the demos and displays, Americade’s headquarters where many events take place and much more. Americade is a gathering of friendly, fun-loving folks, for whom motorcycling is a social hobby, but not some form of rebellion. It's NOT the place for shows of speed, hostile attitudes, or illegally loud motorcycles. Americade supports the AMA position that "Loud Pipes Risk Rights". There are numerous activities at Americade motorcycle rally including..... guided tours, motorcycle demos, white water rafting, balloon rides, poker runs, boat cruises, motorcycle seminars, comedy, fashion show, bike shows, stunt riding shows, and the list goes on and on.
