2012 Michigan Ride for KidsAugust 26, 2012 in Ann Arbor, MichiganThe Michigan Ride for Kids® is a combination road ride and dual sport event! Washtenaw Community College 4800 E. Huron River Dr. Ann Arbor, MI 48106 Registration opens at 8 a.m. The dual sport ride starts at 10 a.m. The road riders' meeting is at 10:30 a.m., with the ride start to follow, rain or shine! Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation gets the majority of their funding from bikers attending this event. We welcome riders on all makes and models of road bikes and street-legal dual sport motorcycles. When you join hundreds of other motorcyclists for either one of these scenic motorcycle charity rides through the Michigan countryside, you'll have a great time while raising funds for the PBTF medical research and family support programs! The biker charity ride will loop back to the start point. After a light lunch, participants will enjoy a Celebration of Life program that features interviews with young brain tumor survivors—the Ride for Kids® "stars" of the day. Award presentations to top fundraisers will follow. The minimum donation to ride is $35, but the more money you raise, the more premiums you earn. For each $300 you raise, your name will be entered into a drawing for a new Honda motorcycle! We also draw for a new AGV helmet, Cardo Scala Rider, Dunlop tire, and Tourmaster luggage. (Must be present to win.)
