The arena took 27 months to build and was the first major arena in the U.S. that was designated completely non-smoking – as it remains to this day. Target Center is conveniently located in downtown Minneapolis and is accessible via car, bus, bike or train. The arena is located at 600 First Avenue North in the heart of the Warehouse and Entertainment district of Minneapolis. Target Center is on the northwest side of downtown Minneapolis between 6th and 7th Streets. Whether you're a beginner just getting started or a seasoned professional, one of the 29 classes at Arenacross is meant for you. The beginner class is offered for first time racers or anyone with less than six months motocross experience. An AMA membership, a bike and proper safety equipment are the only requirements to get you started. The top 10 in this class at the Amateur National Arenacross Championships in Las Vegas, Nevada May 6th 2012 will be eligible to receive a Supercross Lites endorsement. PRO Sport 14 - up 122cc- 450cc 2-stroke or 4-stroke The PROSport class is 100% payback based on number of entries. NEW THIS YEAR: The Pro Sport Class will be eligible to race at the AMA AMATEUR NATIONAL ARENACROSS CHAMPIONSHIPS and will also eligible to receive an AMA National Championship Title Driving Directions From North: Take 35W south to the Washington Avenue Exit.
