TT Circuit Assen

Assen TT Circuit is located near the town of Assen, province Drenthe of Holland. It has a length of 4,555 km with 17 turns and is known as the venue for the Dutch MotoGP and Dutch World Superbike. The circuit is owned by Stichting Circuit van Drenthe since 1936.

TT Assen circuit has a width of 10m and the longest straight has a length of 970m. In most of the curves the asphalt tilts down, which makes high speeds on this circuit possible. Even when the asphalt is wet, the grip level remains high. TT Assen Circuit is a demanding and fast circuit where drivers with the most experience have an advantage.

During the World Superbike of Assen none of the grandstands will be numbered.

During the World Superbike of Assen only the Main grandstand will be covered.

During the World Superbike of Assen parking will be free of charge.

There are two disabled platforms available: one between Haarbocht and Strubben and one in the corner of TT World. Both disabled person as well as carer will need a normal general admission ticket to enter these platforms. General admission ticket will be valid only in combination with valid disabled card. Every disabled person can bring one care giver.

On all event days, TT Circuit Assen will organise a pitwalk. Tickets are only available during the weekend itself at the gates of the track for approx. EUR 5. Exact hours to be announced.


Schiphol International Airport in Amsterdam is Holland’s main airport. This is not far from the circuit, since Holland is a quite small country. At the airport you can take a train to Assen; mostly direction Hilversum, but please inform at the information desk of the train station since this may vary. Travel by taxi from Schiphol Airport is also a possibility, but please note that taxis are quite expensive in Holland. You can also rent a car at the airport or do this online by clicking here.

If you travel by car from Schiphol Airport, take highway A4 and merge onto A10. Take exit A1 and follow highway A1 till exit 14. Merge onto A28. Follow the A28 and take the exit towards Hoogeveen/Assen/Groningen. Then follow the signs to Assen and follow the signs to TT Circuit Assen.

Accommodation
There are not many hotels to find in Assen. You can also look for a hotel in one of the villages around Assen.
