2012 Ride for RettMarch 31, 2012 in Pelham, AlabamaHeart of Dixie Harley-Davidson 333 Cahaba Valley Parkway North, Pelham, AL Registration will begin at 9:00 AM at the Heart of Dixie Harley Davidson The ride will start about 10:30 AM and end at approximately 1:00 PM Registration is a donation of $25 per bike. Includes hotdogs and burgers for everyone at the HOG Room. All monies collected benefit local girls and women with Rett Syndrome. What is Rett Syndrome? It is a devastating neurological disease that primarily affects young girls and women. Girls with Rett Syndrome cannot talk, many cannot walk, and most cannot use their hands. They require total care from parents or care-givers. The ride benefits SRSA (Southeastern Rett Syndrome Alliance), The Rett Syndrome Center at UAB, and IRSF (International Rett Syndrome Foundation).
