3rd annual Blessing of the Bikes

April 14,2012 in Asheville, North Carolina

The 3rd annual Blessing of the Bikes will take place at 11am on Saturday, April 14th at MR Motorcycle.
The Blessing provides an opportunity for all motorcycle riders to have themselves and their bikes Blessed for a safe riding season, while at the same time providing an opportunity for camaraderie and friendship and promoting bike safety, along with a positive image of motorcycling to the community at large.

This non-denominational ceremony is open to all riders, all ages and all motorcycles, including dirt, street and custom bikes.

Although Blessing of the Bikes is actually religious, there are many non-religious people who make a point to get their motorcycles Blessed every year.

So, regardless of your religious beliefs (or lack thereof), you will be Blessed and welcomed; you will not be lectured to or made to feel uncomfortable.

100% of all donations will benefit the Asheville Buncombe Community Christian Ministry.

Lunch will be provided for a minimum donation of $10 in either cash or hygiene items (tooth brushes, tooth paste, dental floss, shaving cream, disposable razors, aftershave, deodorant, cologne, Tums/Rolaids, alcohol-free mouthwash, shampoo, bar soap, laundry soap, etc.)

Event scheduled from 10:30am-12:30pm, rain or shine, with live music, prizes and a 50/50 drawing.
